AMN Healthcare is partnering with a Houston, Texas school district to hire a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position. You will provide direct therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP, possibly co-therapy, and assist with data collection and IEP paperwork.

Adherence to supervision rules and state requirements is essential. The role emphasizes strong communication skills and prior school or pediatric experience; ASHA SLPA certification is preferred,

Qualificações

• ASHA SLPA Certification preferred.
• Experience in School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric settings is advantageous.
• A criminal background check/comprehensive background check completed prior to employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct therapy services to students under supervising SLP.
• Possibly co-therapy with supervising SLP and participation in student observations.
• Gather assessment and therapy materials; collect IEP paperwork and data for reporting to supervising SLP.
• Coordinate supervision requirements with the supervising SLP to ensure compliance with regulations.
