Job summary

Cleveland Manufacturing Company is seeking a Plating Technician for 1st shift in the Cleveland, OH area. This TEMP to HIRE position offers starting pay in the range of $18–$22 per hour, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience in electrochemical brush plating of customer parts, samples, and production work.

Responsibilities include performing plating operations, adhering to customer specifications, designing tooling, maintaining equipment, and keeping a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with plating processes or fabrication support is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and handling of chemicals is preferred.

• Performs electrochemical brush plating of customer owned and sample parts for production, OEM, repair or refurbishment.
• Adheres to all specifications as detailed on customer purchase orders.
• Designs and makes tooling and fixtures to facilitate efficient and effective plating.

Cleveland Manufacturing Company has an opening for a Plating Technician

1st shift hours 630am-300pm - TEMP to HIRE POSITION, starting pay $18-22/hr

Performs electrochemical brush plating of customer owned and sample parts for production, oem, repair or refurbishment. Work is carried out in-house or at customer's designated location.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs plating work utilizing appropriate equipment and solutions

Adheres to all specifications as detailed on customer purchase orders.

Designs and makes tooling and fixtures to facilitate efficient and effective plating.

Maintains equipment in working order, identifies items needing maintenance and repair.

Maintains work area to assure safe and clean work environment.

Follows all company policies, department procedures and job specific work instructions.

Essential Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:
Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and/or move up to 100 pounds. Also required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit.
