Job summary
Revolution Medicines is seeking a Temp Senior Research Associate in Cancer Immunology to lead flow cytometry operations in a lab environment in Redwood City, CA. You will manage instruments, perform startup/QC, and train new users while supporting experimental design and data analysis under a contract arrangement.
The role requires a strong background in multi-color spectral flow cytometry, panel optimization, and meticulous record-keeping to advance immunology assays in a fast-paced drug
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science with 3+ years in cell biology/cellular assay development.
- Deep expertise with multi-color spectral flow cytometry assays.
- Design high-parameter flow panels and run independent experiments.
Responsibilities
- Manage flow cytometer instruments including startup, QC, maintenance and performance verification.
- Troubleshoot instrument issues and coordinate repairs with external vendors.
- Maintain inventories of instrument consumables and reagents.
- Perform routine flow cytometry assays and data acquisition/analysis.
- Train new users on instrument operation and best laboratory practices.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for instrument operation and assays.
- Assist scientists with experimental design and flow cytometry workflows.
