Position Overview
Sage Greymane, on behalf of our consulting services industry client, is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant to join our client’s Managed Services team. This role is focused on supporting existing clients post-implementation, ensuring their Oracle Cloud Finance environments remain optimized, compliant, and audit-ready. You will act as a trusted advisor, working collaboratively with CFOs, controllers, and finance teams to enhance and sustain financial reporting, statutory compliance, and operational excellence through continuous support and system enhancements.

Essential Consulting Duties
· Provide expert Oracle Cloud Finance functional support to clients as part of our managed services team, focusing on continuous process improvement, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
· Support clients with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities including audit readiness, statutory reporting, and financial disclosures.
· Implement enhancements, system optimizations, and Oracle Financials Reporting Studio updates within existing Oracle Cloud environments.
· Conduct regular health checks, system reviews, and working sessions to identify value-add improvements.
· Collaborate closely with CFOs, finance teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment with financial standards and readiness for audits.
· Document support tickets, change requests, and maintain detailed records for ongoing service delivery.
Leadership Duties
· Serve as the functional lead for multiple clients under managed services agreements, providing long-term strategic and operational support.
· Promote best practices for compliance, efficiency, and finance process improvement across client portfolios.
· Lead recurring client meetings, status updates, and roadmap planning sessions.
· Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the managed services team and with client stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
· 10+ years of Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS experience, including direct responsibility for supporting and enhancing live Oracle Financials environments in manufacturing, oil & gas, or consumer products sectors. Experience must include post-go-live activities such as troubleshooting, change management, patch validation, and compliance monitoring.
· Proven track record in applying Oracle Financials Reporting studio updates with managed Oracle Cloud implementations. This includes configuring and maintaining statutory reports, ensuring compliant close processes, and supporting external audits and financial reviews on a recurring basis.
· Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle Financials modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL) – maintaining chart of accounts, multi-ledger setups, and localization adjustments.
- Fixed Assets (FA) – ongoing management of depreciation methods, impairments, and reconciliations.
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) – issue resolution, configuration tuning, and continuous process improvement.
- Cash Management (CM) – reconciliation, forecasting, and transaction management.
- Tax and Intercompany – compliance maintenance, tax engine configuration, and reporting.
- Subledger Accounting (SLA) – refinement and mapping adjustments to support auditability.
· Experience in supporting clients with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles, including delivering updated Oracle Financials Reporiting Studio reports, preparing audit-ready documentation, and managing escalations in coordination with internal finance stakeholders and external auditors.
· Strong knowledge of managed services delivery models, including SLA-based service operations, ticket lifecycle management (via systems such as ServiceNow or Jira), and structured change control processes.
· Effective in leading health checks, enhancement roadmaps, and strategic system reviews for long-term clients, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and continual optimization of financial operations.
· Proven success in engaging directly with CFOs, Controllers, and audit leads, translating system findings and regulatory updates into clear, actionable insights that support risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
· Relevant certifications preferred: Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle Financials Reporting Studio or equivalent financial compliance credentials.
Preferred Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience with global rollouts and multi-entity consolidations.
· Experience in system integrations (e.g., PLM, P2P, supply chain modules) for streamlined end-to-end processes
· Background working with Big 4 or mid-tier audit firms on Oracle and Oracle Financials Reporting Studio
· Track record of mentoring junior consultants and developing training content for Oracle + Oracle Financials Reporting Studio capabilities
· Client relationship management – Builds long-term trust through consistency, transparency, and responsiveness.
· Cross-functional collaboration – Works fluidly across finance, IT, and audit teams to drive alignment and effective execution.
