Cer Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Sterling Heights, Michigan for a contract position. The role focuses on financial analysis, postings to financial reports, and maintaining monthly close processes.

Responsibilities include reconcilement of intercompany accounts, journal entries, and supporting audits and reporting in corporate modules. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least five years of experience are required.

Formación

• Provide financial analysis and postings to financial reports and schedules.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly postings to the financials in accounting software.
• Perform reconciliation of accounts to subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Complete monthly financial reporting in corporate-provided modules.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze daily, month-end, and year-end activity of income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries and allocations to the GL.
• Reconcile intercompany AR/AP accounts and related charges/credits.
• Support invoicing and collection of accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank accounts and post bank activity.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain accounting documentation and SOP adherence.
• Cross-train to provide backup across accounting areas.
