Job summary

Intel Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Contract Employee to support the Wafer Packaging Manufacturing Singulation organization. You will troubleshoot, dismantle, install, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment to sustain tool reliability and process performance.

The role requires a technical associate degree (or a high school diploma with 4+ years in manufacturing) and the ability to work a compressed 12-hour shift schedule on-site.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience in equipment maintenance or related technical field.
• Proficiency with hand tools, electrical meters, and calibration tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with non-functioning manufacturing equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, install, and assemble equipment using plans, blueprints, manuals and docs.
• Perform setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance; coordinate with suppliers for service and repairs.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret data to improve tool reliability and performance.
• Document system failures and update equipment specifications to support maintenance and performance.
• Collaborate with Module Engineering to execute experiments and data collection per procedures.
• Support troubleshooting with data analysis and controlled experiments to meet targets.
• During ramps, ensure tools are installed, converted, and qualified per design requirements.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and procedural standards.
