Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position in a supportive school setting near San Antonio, Texas. You will work with students, teachers, and families to support communication development and IEP goals.

Responsibilities include assessments, therapy planning for articulation, language, fluency and voice, direct therapy with individuals and groups, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (must hold current credential).
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Knowledge of assessment tools for speech/language disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
• Organizational skills to maintain records and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech and language needs.
• Develop tailored therapy plans targeting articulation, fluency, language, and voice disorders.
• Provide evidence-based direct therapy services, individually and in groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure student progress.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention strategies.
• Offer resources and strategies to support classroom integration and generalization of skills.
