Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school-based contract in Texas. The role focuses on assessing and supporting student's communication needs in a dynamic, inclusive setting.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapy, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team while maintaining accurate records and contributing to IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• CCC-SLP certification preferred, but strong CFs are welcome
• Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organization and documentation abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and language challenges
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Offer guidance and education to families and staff on best practices in speech and language development
