Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position in a vibrant school near Plano, TX. You will evaluate and treat students, collaborate with teachers and families, and support IEP goals to foster communication development.

The role emphasizes partnership with school staff and ongoing documentation to comply with state requirements. Ideal candidates are licensed in Texas or eligible, with CCC-SLP preferred and CFY considered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Texas SLP license or eligibility for state licensure.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered.
• Experience with school-aged children is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to identify student speech and language needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals.
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise on strategies and supports.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel heard and supported.
