You will handle initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and chair eligibility meetings, with no counseling duties. Strong collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families is expected; CT certification required.

Qualifications

• CT School Psychologist certification required.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments for grades 7-12.
• Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting assessment tools.
• Thorough understanding of special education eligibility processes.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teams, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Complete all initial evaluations and re-evaluations for assigned students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student needs.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports for eligibility meetings.
• Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and planning sessions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
• Stay current with Connecticut regulations and best practices in school psychology.
