Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth in a vibrant school setting near Greenwood, Indiana. This contract position offers collaboration with educational teams and a chance to impact student outcomes.

You will conduct psycho-educational evaluations, develop and interpret IEPs, provide crisis intervention and counseling, and partner with families and staff to design effective supports while upholding ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist.
• Advanced degree in School Psychology or closely related field.
• Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations and assessments.
• Knowledge of special education processes and legal requirements.
• Ability to interpret data and present findings to educators and families.
• Experience with crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral consultation.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, staff, and families.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns.
• Develop and interpret Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in eligibility meetings.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design effective intervention and support plans.
• Provide consultation and training for staff on best practices in student support.
• Deliver direct and indirect counseling to students, helping them develop coping and social skills.
• Uphold all ethical and legal standards in records management and assessments.
• Contribute your expertise during multidisciplinary meetings and through ongoing communication with school teams.
