ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist for a maternity-leave contract to support K-12 students’ well-being and academic growth on site in Highland Park, IL. You will collaborate with staff and families to assess, plan, and implement interventions.

The role emphasizes psychoeducational assessments, IEP participation, and crisis support with a multidisciplinary team. Eligible candidates hold an IL School Psychologist license and have prior school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure and credentialing as a School Psychologist.
• Experience providing psychological services in school settings.
• Ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with K-12 populations and adapting approaches to various developmental stages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations for students across all grade levels.
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans and Behavioral support programs.
• Serve as an active member of IEP and multidisciplinary teams.
• Consult with educators, administrators, and families to promote student learning and mental health.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and contribute to student records.
• Support staff and student crisis intervention as needed.
