Job summary

Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care at a correctional facility in Mitchells, Virginia. The ideal candidate will assess health problems, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.

The contract assignment runs for 13 weeks with an 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. shift and a pay rate of $47 per hour. Active Virginia license and CPR certification are required.

Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Administer medications to patients and monitor for adverse reactions.
Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
