Job summary

TECHEAD is seeking a Recruiter for a contract role in Chesapeake, VA, onsite. The position involves sourcing, reviewing resumes, screening candidates for government contracts, and coordinating interviews.

You will manage postings in the ATS and ensure timely communication across teams. Responsibilities include evaluating qualifications and security clearances, preparing LOIs, and supporting onboarding and HR administration while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, communications, IT, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ATS.
• Ability to work 100% onsite (with potential for hybrid flexibility over time).

Responsibilities

• Source, review resumes, screen, and interview candidates for government-related roles.
• Create and update job postings in the ATS and coordinate candidate interviews.
• Review qualifications, certifications, and security clearances.
• Prepare candidate documentation including LOIs and contingencies.
• Source talent via job boards, networking, referrals, and specialized channels.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and HR administration while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support proposals and workforce planning aligning with contract needs.
