Responsibilities

• Own the recruitment lifecycle for IT contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire opportunities.
• Manage a high volume of VMS requisitions and ensure timely candidate submissions.
• Source, screen, interview, and qualify technical professionals across a variety of technology skill sets.
• Build and maintain active talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with account managers and delivery teams to understand client requirements and hiring priorities.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, manage offers, and support onboarding activities.
• Track recruiting activity and maintain candidate records within ATS and VMS.
• Provide consistent communication to candidates, internal teams, and clients.

Position Overview

Gravity IT Resources is seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to support and help manage one of our largest staff augmentation engagements.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a high-volume environment and enjoys owning the recruiting process from requisition intake through candidate placement. In addition to sourcing and recruiting top IT talent, this individual will serve as a key resource in managing a VMS-driven workflow, ensuring requisitions are prioritized, submissions are delivered quickly, and client expectations are consistently exceeded.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, relationship-driven, and comfortable managing multiple competing priorities while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.

• Manage a high volume of VMS requisitions and ensure timely candidate submissions

• Provide consistent communication and status updates to candidates, internal teams, and clients
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier technical talent
• Meet recruiting goals while maintaining a high-quality candidate and client experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Technical Recruiting, IT Staffing, or Staff Augmentation
• Experience supporting VMS-driven clients and managing high-volume requisition workflows
• Proven success recruiting for technical roles including Cloud, Infrastructure, Software Development, Data & Analytics, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation initiatives
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and networking strategies
• Ability to prioritize multiple openings and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
