Job summary

Sora Resource Group seeks a contract X-ray Technologist for general radiography in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, and Spine settings. The role requires adapting protocols for patients of all ages, and ensuring safe, timely imaging per Radiologist standards.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment operation, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Requires ARRT RT(R), BLS, and IEMA, with 1+ year experience; High School grad with preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• 1+ year experience in radiography or related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.
• Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R) ARRT certification required.
• IEMA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and equipment and select technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge to perform scans on patients of all ages and adapt protocols.
• Maintain safety and quality controls for radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, hospital staff, nurses and physicians.
• Other duties as assigned.
