Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking contract psychiatrists who are passionate about whole-person mental health care and working within a connected provider network to deliver culturally responsive care.

As a contract psychiatrist, you’ll perform intake evaluations and ongoing follow-ups for children (0–17) and adults, conduct psychiatric assessments, manage medications, and refer to evidence-based therapy and coaching in tandem with your treatment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry.
• Unrestricted state license in the United States.
• Active DEA license preferred.
• Must have office space to see patients in Sioux Falls, SD.
• Full-time resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via intake and regular follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment.
• Construct patient-centered treatment plans, document treatment recommendations, message patients, and prescribe/manage psychiatric medications.
• Follow evidence-based medication treatment guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care).
• Experience and enthusiasm for working with minors (0–17) and adults.
