Job summary

Boeing seeks a contract software engineer to design, adapt, test, and maintain applications. This role is a contract assignment managed through a Boeing approved third party, with oversight for a Red Hat Linux migration of a legacy C/C++ system used for precision time synchronized data.

Candidates must meet security clearance requirements and bring strong C, C++, Python, Qt, Git skills, plus TCP/UDP and tcpdump. Linux and Windows experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and resolves programming or architecture problems.
• Reviews system performance and recommends improvements.
