Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) seeks a Production Manager (Contract) to join the Head of Production organization in California. The role focuses on improving production operations across world‑class studios and coordinating internal projects within the Studio Business Group.

Responsibilities include coordinating priorities, communicating challenges and risks, and delivering high‑quality production processes. The position offers top‑tier benefits and a potential bonus package.

Qualifications

• Project Management experience in game development or game publishing
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in cross‑functional, collaborative environments
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity and drive progress in evolving situations
• Background across production, product, program management, or operations
• Experience supporting leadership decision‑making or executive operating rhythms
• Familiarity with scaling processes and best practices across teams

Responsibilities

• Plan, track, and coordinate central initiatives, supporting leadership in maintaining structured oversight across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with studio and company priorities
• Assist leadership and development teams in communicating production challenges, risks, and opportunities
• Provide targeted support on high‑priority initiatives and areas of need
• Maintain alignment and accountability across senior leadership initiatives, track commitments, and surface risks or misalignment
• Establish and maintain clear, consistent reporting frameworks that support leadership visibility
• Ensure project information is accurate, actionable, and accessible for decision‑making
• Support and manage key operating rhythms, including studio reviews and leadership forums
• Deliver structured, high‑quality communication to support executive decision‑making
• Document and standardize effective production processes and workflows
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational friction
• Partner with central teams to align tools, processes, and ways of working
