Job summary

Sun Technologies is seeking a Production Controller for its Aerospace Division in Oxnard, CA. This on-site role supports manufacturing planning and production control with a contract duration of up to 12 months.

The job offers a pay range of $30–$35 per hour and benefits, including medical insurance, a 401(k), and paid sick leave. The position requires ERP experience (Deltek Costpoint), forklift operation, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Deltek Costpoint.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Forklift operation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules for material requirements and availability to support production control.
• Interface with Production, Quality Control, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve material receipt and distribution issues.
• Research kit shortages, expedite missing kits, and ensure proper kit integration.
• Reconcile traceability and ensure inventory processes meet quality standards.
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives and manage projects to meet deadlines.
• Assist in expediting flow of materials between departments and coordinate packing/shipping via UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers.
