Position Summary & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The position (K0235330)

This position will assist with the development of Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), contracts, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Interagency Agreements (IAAs), amendments, and other types of contractual agreements. This also includes analysis of and processing invoices.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

This position is responsible for the oversight of the KMMS (Kansas Medicaid Management System) Contract.This contract has 8 Modules - Customer Self-Service Portal, Claims/Encounters, Provider Enrollment, Program Integrity Utilization/Management, InSight Dashboard, Data Warehouse and KEES.The person in this position is responsible for the development of a common set of tools for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating the contractors' performance related to the system build, operations and post implementation. Develop tools to monitor and evaluate the performance of the KMMS (Kansas Medicaid Management System) contractor and other contracts. The assessment tools will facilitate the evaluation of performance against the specific contracts’ Service Level Agreements. SLAs may cover staffing, equipment, software, reports outcomes/measures, billing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • High School, GED
  • Licensing & Certification:
    • Valid Driver's License - Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • One year of experience in planning, implementing and monitoring activities relevant to contracts.
    • A high level of competence in using Microsoft 360 tools, especially Excel, Work, and Outlook
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree - Business or other applicable field
    • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
    • Ability to gather relevant information
    • Analyze data and present in clear and concise reports
    • Monitoring SLAs (service level agreements)
    • Interpret regulations and policies
    • Independent judgement
    • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
    • Works well in a team environment
    • Ability to develop audit tools
    • Experience in Medicaid policy and contracts
