Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet state preschool teacher assistant requirements.
• Flexibility to work within business hours.
• Previous experience as a teacher assistant or in licensed daycare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching team to foster a positive learning environment for children.
• Document and share milestones with parents daily.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Observe children and ensure safety, guiding play with language and activities.
• Encourage social behavior and set developmentally appropriate expectations.
• Assist in planning a balanced daily schedule (quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor).
