Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Lakeland, FL for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The candidate will work 6:30am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, for an initial 3-month duration.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, data recording, and patient communication. Requires recent venipuncture experience and appropriate certification.

Qualifications

• Venipuncture experience in fast-paced labs or hospitals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimens and ensure proper labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
