Job summary

Talentify in Novato, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 5-month contract. The position is onsite with standard weekday hours and occasional Saturday coverage.

The role requires phlebotomy skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will collect blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, maintain records, and support patient care while upholding confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, and WA).
• CA CPT 1 is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence blood collection and processing following established procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
