Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for Greenwich, CT on a contract basis with potential for permanent employment.

Duties include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and maintaining accurate patient data; follow OSHA/DEP rules and safety protocols.

Candidates must have a state phlebotomy certification, at least 12 months of venipuncture experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; schedule 8am–5pm, Mon–Fri, with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• ValidPhlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 12 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced labs or hospitals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate records.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure sample integrity.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
