Job summary

Medix is seeking two reliable phlebotomists to support clinical and laboratory operations across facilities in the Denver Metro area. You will perform phlebotomy, assist with waived testing, and manage routine lab documentation to ensure quality and safety.

The roles require precise specimen handling, adherence to OSHA and HIPAA, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Two openings with consistent daytime hours in a contract setting (8-12 weeks).

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on phlebotomy experience.
• Knowledge of CLIA waived testing and safety protocols.
• Ability to maintain accurate accessioning logs and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex phlebotomy procedures with correct patient identification.
• Execute waived lab tests under CLIA guidelines and process orders for in-house and reference labs.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and ensure proper calibration.
