• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique with needles.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures; ensure labeling accuracy.
