Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll administration, benefits processing, HRIS maintenance, and employee data integrity for 300+ employees. You will serve as a subject matter expert for payroll, benefits, and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role starts as a 90-day contract, with on-site work in Richardson, TX, first shift. Strong Paylocity, Paycom or UKG experience and advanced Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing for 300+ employees.
• Strong HRIS knowledge and data integrity skills.
• Payroll and benefits processing experience preferred.
• Payroll certification and/or extensive payroll training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls accurately and on schedule.
• Enter payroll data, adjustments, and variable compensation; reconcile data.
• Coordinate timesheet approvals and reconcile payroll information prior to processing.
• Audit payroll records and correct discrepancies; ensure compliance with policies.
