Job summary

Swift Staffing seeks a Paralegal for a government client in Towson to assist with litigation, operational, transactional and administrative matters on a six-month contract at $21.00/hour. Responsibilities include preparing pleadings, interviewing clients, drafting briefs, conducting research, and trial support.

Must have at least two years of paralegal experience and proficiency with ESI tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two years of paralegal experience required.
• Paralegal certification or associate degree may substitute experience.
• Hands-on experience with ESI tools and discovery processes required.
• Excellent written and oral communication; 40 wpm typing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, filing, and service of pleadings.
• Conduct client interviews and maintain client contact.
• Draft correspondence and pleadings such as complaints and subpoenas.
• Investigate case facts and prepare exhibits and diagrams.
• Support trial prep with exhibits, witness binders, and appendices.
