Boeing is seeking a Contract Project Management Specialist 3 in Tempe, AZ to lead onboarding of new statements of work into Fabrication Operations and coordinate cross-functional project delivery. This six-month on-site assignment emphasizes ROI, risk management, and continuous process improvement within the BIO team.

The role requires 5–10 years in project management, manufacturing experience, and strong communication across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage onboarding of new statement of work into Fabrication Operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational capabilities.
• Oversee work movement and placement activities, coordinating both permanent and emergent work transitions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Quality, and other support functions to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop comprehensive business cases, including ROI analyses, to support decision-making and resource allocation.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Analyze and summarize complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and coordinate resolution efforts across stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report status to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication among diverse teams to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes and onboarding practices.
