Job summary

DelRicht Research in Charleston, SC is seeking a temporary, full-time Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse to support clinical trials. The role emphasizes patient care, patient flow, and accurate documentation within a fast-paced research environment.

You will perform rooming, vitals, ECGs, blood draws, IM injections, charting, and sample processing while adhering to study protocols. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, for 6–12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Certified medical assistant or nurse with active credentials (CMA/CCMA/RMA or RN/LPN).
• Experience with rooming patients, vitals, ECGs, blood draws, and injections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent care and a positive experience for patients in clinical trials.
• Guide patients through visits including rooming, vitals, ECGs, blood draws, injections, and notes.
• Administer IM injections safely and accurately.
• Process and ship biological samples per study protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and review own work for quality.

Play a Key Role in Clinical Research - Temporary, Full Time Role in Charleston!

Looking for a short-term position in the healthcare sector as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA accepted!), Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse? Help us move medicine forward by playing an active role in conducting new and innovative clinical trials in our community.

This is a full-time, temporary role (standard business hours- no evenings or weekends!) projected to last 6-8 weeks. No prior research experience is required- just bring your healthcare background and enthusiasm!

What you will do:

• Deliver excellent care and a positive experience for patients in our clinical research studies
• Guide patients through every step of their visits, including rooming, intake, vitals, ECGs, blood draws, IM injections, and progress notes
• Administer IM injections safely and accurately
• Process and ship biological samples according to study protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely patient charting, reviewing your own work for quality and precision

Salary: Competitive rates dependent upon licensure; starting at $25.00 per hour for MAs, starting at $30.00 per hour for nurses

Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday

Term: 6-12 weeks
