Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer for a 12-month contract in San Diego, CA. You will deploy, monitor, and optimize enterprise networking, data center operations, and related infrastructure. Experience with SolarWinds and ITSM processes will be important for success.

The role involves on-site work with after-hours on-call rotations and collaboration across vendors. A relevant bachelor’s degree and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT or related field required.
• Industry certifications (CCNP/CCNA/CCIE or MCSE) preferred.
• 5+ years in enterprise networking, data center operations, or MSP environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, monitor, maintain, and configure enterprise networking equipment and services.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and decommission network infrastructure.
• Provide data center floor support including hardware installation and lifecycle management.
• Analyze network performance using SolarWinds and related tools.
• Respond to outages and coordinate with vendors to restore services per SLA.
• Manage incidents and ITSM tickets using ServiceNow.
• Support network projects including design refreshes and hardware deployments.
