Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 90-day contract assignment. The role involves independently performing MRI procedures, prioritizing patient safety, preparing exams, and communicating clearly with patients and staff.

You will ensure exams are properly coded and documented, while upholding MR safety protocols. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of MR experience and ARRT/CNMT/ARMRIT/ARDMS MR registry, with BLS and PA Acts compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• MR registry (ARMRIT/ARDMS or CNMT) must be obtained within specified time frames.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MR imaging.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MR safety protocols within the department.
• Ensure clinical competency in all MR exams and equipment.
• Read and present relevant patient information to physicians prior to exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers.
• Review patient history and physician orders per department protocols.
• Document patient history in EMR as required.
• Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety.
• Code, track, and document exams in Rad Assessment system.
• Collaborate with team to expedite patient care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
