Job summary

Mural Group is staffing a contract millwright team for a global steel equipment manufacturer at their Ashland, KY shop. This is a short-term project and will run 4 to 6 weeks with a 12-hour shift and a 24/7 operation pace to meet a tight timeline.

Wages range from $45.00 to $55.00 per hour, plus a $120.00 daily per diem; overtime potential exists given the compressed window and project demands. Candidates must pass a drug test and be ready to start soon.

Qualifications

• Millwright trade experience with heavy industrial mechanical equipment.
• Disassembly, inspection and reassembly of large components is core to this work.
• Comfort working with hydraulic systems and grease lubrication components.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble rolling mill chock assemblies following established procedures.
• Inspect internal components and lines for debris or contamination.
• Clean components to specification and verify they meet standards before reassembly.
• Reassemble chocks accurately and document the work completed.
• Support the team to maintain the 24/7 operation pace required by the project timeline.
