Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a contract engineer to lead IPTs in product development, manufacturability studies, and tooling philosophies. The role focuses on refining designs, coordinating architecture, and developing manufacturing plans for build readiness.

The candidate will conduct complex producibility analyses, resolve technical issues, mentor teammates, and deploy Lean Enterprise methods across the project. This contract runs for six months, with hourly pay through a third party.

Qualifications

• Drawing Reviews and Work Instructions creation are required.
• GOLDEsp or similar SAP tools are used for analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Leads IPTs in analyzing product development and producibility studies.
• Refines, validates and coordinates conceptual designs and manages program architecture.
• Develops manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization.
• Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure process capability.
• Resolves complex technical problems and mentors others.
• Deploys Lean Enterprise analysis methods.
• Documents and communicates producibility best practices.
