Job summary

Groundworks Operations, LLC, North America's leading foundation repair and water management specialist, is seeking a Contract Manager to join our team in a hands-on role. You will draft, review, and negotiate diverse agreements, aligning legal risk with business objectives while supporting field operations.

This role requires 5–10+ years in contract management, a Bachelor's degree (JD or paralegal a plus), and experience with CLM systems; in-office in Virginia Beach or Dallas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD or paralegal background is a plus.
• 5-10+ years in contract management or commercial contracting.
• Experience negotiating vendor and service agreements.
• Excellent understanding of key contract terms and risk allocation.
• Preferred experience in home services, construction, or multi-location service business.
• Familiarity with high-volume, decentralized operations and CLM systems, plus knowledge of employment/independent contractor considerations and insurance risk transfer.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including Vendor and supplier agreements (materials, equipment, IT, marketing).
• Subcontractor and independent contractor agreements.
• Customer-facing terms and conditions; NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and purchase agreements.
• Balance legal risk with commercial objectives to drive timely deal closure.
• Manage contracts from intake through execution and renewal; maintain templates and a structured repository.
