Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Contract Manager to support administration of customer contracts and construction subcontracts on complex material-handling projects. The role involves managing risk, change, claims, compliance, and project records from award through closeout, while guiding commercial, schedule, and financial aspects with project teams.

You will collaborate with Project Management, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and site teams; may represent the company in discussions with customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in contract management, construction management, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience in contracts, commercial management, construction management or project delivery.
• Strong understanding of contract formation, interpretation, administration and enforcement principles.
• Ability to analyze complex contract issues and communicate a clear commercial position.

Responsibilities

• Administer customer contracts and subcontracts throughout the project lifecycle, including obligations and milestones.
• Review contracts, amendments, PO s, subcontracts, and communications; relay requirements to stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance and identify gaps before entitlement or delivery impact.
• Prepare cost, schedule, productivity, and commercial justifications with delivery teams.
• Develop claim and defense strategies for customer and subcontract matters.
