Position Overview:

Are you an experienced contract professional with a passion for detail, negotiation, and collaboration? We’re seeking a Contract Manager to support a high-growth company operating in the advanced warehousing and automation industry. This role will be pivotal in managing the full lifecycle of customer and vendor contracts—from negotiation to close-out—ensuring business goals are met while minimizing risk and maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead Contract Negotiations: Collaborate with internal teams and legal counsel to negotiate terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, securing favorable outcomes while reducing risk.
2. Draft & Review Agreements: Prepare and review a range of contract documents, including proposals, amendments, and addenda, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and legal compliance.
3. Oversee Contract Lifecycle: Manage all stages of the contract process, ensuring obligations are met, timelines are followed, and documentation is maintained.
4. Mitigate Contractual Risk: Identify and resolve potential issues related to liability, non-compliance, or disputes.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between legal, project management, supply chain, sales, engineering, and leadership teams.
6. Ensure Regulatory & Policy Compliance: Uphold both external legal standards and internal company policies.
7. Reporting & Insights: Provide detailed updates and reports on contract status and performance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in contract management, ideally within construction, engineering, logistics, or material handling industries.
• Expertise in contract law, risk assessment, and negotiation strategy.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities—able to juggle multiple contracts with varying priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Business Law, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use contract management software effectively.
