Security Contract Manager
Citadel Security USA is hiring a dependable and experienced Security Contract Manager to provide daily coverage, property inspections, mobile site checks, and security support at assigned locations.
This position combines routine inspections with public interaction, access monitoring, emergency response, and detailed documentation. The successful candidate should be comfortable taking initiative, working independently, communicating with the public, and making responsible decisions when unexpected situations occur.
A valid driver's license is required, as the assignment includes mobile site checks.
Primary Responsibilities
Property Checks & Patrol
- Complete scheduled interior and exterior walkthroughs of assigned areas.
- Inspect entrances, restrooms, storage spaces, parking areas, and other designated locations.
- Conduct mobile site checks when scheduled.
- Look for hazards, damage, unauthorized activity, rule violations, and other unusual conditions.
- Identify concerns that require attention and promptly communicate them to the appropriate contact.
Public Interaction & Rule Enforcement
- Provide clear information regarding applicable rules and established procedures.
- Address routine violations respectfully and professionally.
- Use verbal communication and de‑escalation techniques to help resolve challenging interactions.
Building Access & Opening/Closing
- Assist with scheduled opening and closing activities.
- Check designated entrances and exits during assigned coverage periods.
- Observe access activity and report unusual or unauthorized entry concerns.
- Report damaged, malfunctioning, or unsecured access points.
Emergency Assistance
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies, fire alarms, evacuations, and other urgent situations.
- Follow established emergency response and evacuation procedures.
- Contact emergency services when circumstances require outside assistance.
- Provide first aid, CPR, or Narcan assistance only when appropriately trained and currently certified.
- Maintain communication with supervisors during significant incidents.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare accurate reports covering accidents, incidents, safety concerns, and rule violations.
- Maintain required electronic activity logs and other assignment documentation.
- Include pertinent details such as time, location, observations, actions taken, and notifications made.
- Notify supervisors promptly regarding significant incidents or conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License required.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in private security, law enforcement, military, or a related field.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult interactions professionally.
- Effective de‑escalation and conflict-management skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions during emergencies and unexpected situations.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current CPR, first aid, Narcan, or comparable emergency‑response certification.
- Experience using electronic incident‑reporting systems and digital activity logs.
- Background in public‑facing security assignments.
- Familiarity with emergency action plans and evacuation procedures.
- Experience training, coaching, or directing security personnel.
- Experience conducting inspections or mobile site checks.
