Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a senior Contract Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and administration of MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and related documents.   • Experience negotiating MSAs, SOWs, service contracts, and amendments.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracting, risk allocation, and insurance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complete contract lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and administering contracts.
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers balancing business needs and risk.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Risk Management to support profitability.
  • Analyze requirements and communicate pricing, billing, and insurance terms to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual, operational, and financial risks with leadership and counsel.
  • Serve as primary contact for contract interpretation and related issues.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals with Legal for timely execution.
  • Support pricing development and commercial strategy for customer agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and customer requirements.
  • Administer contract templates, renewals, amendments, and electronic records.

Job description

  • Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and administering customer contracts, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Right of Entry Agreements, amendments, and related commercial documents.
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers while balancing business objectives, operational needs, and contractual risk.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Risk Management to ensure commercial terms support project execution and profitability.
  • Analyze contract requirements and communicate key commercial provisions, pricing, billing requirements, insurance obligations, and customer-specific terms to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify contractual, operational, and financial risks and develop practical mitigation strategies in collaboration with leadership and legal counsel.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract interpretation, commercial questions, and customer contract-related issues.
  • Coordinate contract review and approval processes with Legal, ensuring timely execution and compliance with company standards.
  • Support pricing development, rate negotiations, and commercial strategy for customer agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and customer contractual requirements.
  • Administer contract documentation, templates, renewals, amendments, and electronic recordkeeping.
  • Coordinate insurance and risk management requirements with the Corporate Risk function.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal business partners to support successful project execution.
  • Manage team members by providing guidance on contract administration, commercial practices, and risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of contract management and negotiation experience within industrial services, petrochemical, manufacturing, construction, engineering, energy, or other heavy industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), service contracts, and customer amendments.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles, legal terminology, risk allocation, indemnity, insurance requirements, and contract administration.
  • Experience supporting field operations, maintenance services, turnaround projects, construction, or industrial service organizations is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate contractual risk and recommend practical business solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, executives, legal counsel, and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
