Job Summary:
- The Contract Management Analyst position is responsible for ensuring, timely, complete, and accurate contract creation during the creation processes. Other duties include managing monthly reports, conducting special projects as assigned, and resolving problems to assure proper procedures are being followed.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and courteous customer support in the creation and administration of contractual documents in accordance with specified deadlines.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments like Legal, Operations, Credit, and Risk to ensure timely contract closing, routing, and resolution of issues and execution of contracts.
- Track and maintain accurate contract documentation and activities to comply with Sarbanes Oxley reporting.
- Understand and interpret contract language and regulations as it relates to contract setup and maintenance to ensure current business procedures are properly followed.
- Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment.
- Maintain contract integrity for all commercial sales channels, and communicate issues, risks, and concerns to Team Lead/Supervisor.
- Proactively seeks and recommends systems and process enhancements and improvements, including recommending resources, new approaches, and negotiating agreeable solutions.
- Investigate and resolve issues as they arise throughout the lifecycle of contracts.
- Other duties as required by business needs.
Working Conditions:
- Open office environment.
- Some overtime is required as special projects arise.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preference in the business curriculum) or equivalent quantitative contract developing experience.
- Experience: Two or more years of experience in contract management or 5+ years of experience in high-volume transaction processing, or customer service back-office operations required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Siebel, SAP CCS, and Microsoft Tools.
- Understanding of the deregulated retail electricity or natural gas business.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient communication skills and experience communicating with cross-function departments in both oral and written form.
- Works well under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions and changing priorities
- Excels in building relationships with all stakeholders in the contracting process (including Sales, Legal, Risk, Credit, Pricing, etc.)
- Excels in the execution of multi-task assignments.
- Ability to quickly conceptualize and assimilate data to make decisions and take appropriate action.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adapts effectively to new and changing environments.
- Proficient in the operation of personal computers and Windows-based software.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally may require light lifting of inventory boxes as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.
