Qualifications

• Mammography Tech National Certificate is required or preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiology is preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Mammographic unit to produce breast images for diagnostic purposes under physician direction.
• Explain the procedure to patients and monitor the scanning process, adjusting equipment for image quality.
• Perform additional duties within the mammography technologist scope.
