Job summary

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking Machinery Repairman Contract Instructors for positions contingent upon contract award.

The role requires MR subject-matter expertise and instructional credentials to teach complex shipboard machining and maintenance topics. Ideal candidates will be former Senior MR (E5–E9) with shipboard MR experience, possess safety and maintenance knowledge for heavy machinery tooling, and have completed recognized courses such as Heavy Machinery C school, Precision Grinding, or

Qualifications

• Instructor Certification: Shall possess one (1) of the following: Graduate from the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) (CIN: A-012-0077) (NEC 9502/805A); — OR — Equivalent instructor training certification such as the Emergency Services Instructor I certification, based on NFPA 1041.
• Technical Expertise: A minimum of three (3) years of practical, hands-on technical experience directly related to the subject matter being taught.
• Military Training Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience working within a Military Training Environment
• Functional Area Certification: Shall possess current and valid instructor certifications(s) relevant to their specific functional area of instruction (e.g., NETC requirements, professional certifications related to the subject matter)
• Instructional Competency: Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in: Learning principles and effective instructional practices.; Methods for presenting and delivery course content.; Testing and remediation procedures.; Curriculum management and maintenance.; The effective use of training aids, devices, electronic podiums, Tactical Training Equipment (TTE), and laboratory equipment.; Equipment operation and maintenance procedures associated with the course.
