Job summary

Adams & Martin Group is assisting a respected Sacramento law firm with a full-time Contract Litigation Attorney role to support senior associates and partners in complex litigation across Northern California. The position is on-site five days a week, offering opportunities to work directly with clients and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualified candidates will hold an active California Bar license, reside in the Sacramento area, and have 2–5 years of legal experience

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Must reside in Sacramento, CA metro area; on-site 5 days/week.
• 2–5 years of legal experience; junior attorneys encouraged to apply.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a team and engages with the public.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing complex litigation cases from intake through resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
• Assist and prepare for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation events across Northern California
• Contribute to case strategy and support the broader litigation team
