Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to meet patient needs according to standards of practice, physician orders, policies, and guidelines.

• Uses the Company Infection Control Manual appropriately.
• Participates in the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient monitoring and placement.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room, LOA, admits, discharge).
• Provides family and patient education.
• Administers medications and treatments timely, following facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and executes physician orders as permitted by Nurse Practice Act.
• Rounds with physicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN in California.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred but not required.
