Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking Level II NDT technicians (UTSW/MT) with AWS D1.1 experience for contract assignments across Indiana and Ohio. The roles involve on-site inspections in fab shops, with overtime, per diem, and travel provided.

Projects are 4–6 months in duration and may include locations in VA, NC, WI and IL. Candidates must meet the Level II requirements, be able to work independently, and communicate effectively with clients and management to prioritize scope and report

• Provide documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method(s).
• Must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver's license with clean record.
• U.S. Persons required due to ITAR export controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Overtime and per diem paid. These are contract assignments in various locations in south central US (fab shops) and Midwest for on-site inspections. AWS D1.1 experience required. Project is expected to last 4-6 months. Competitive Pay and per diem/travel provided. Locations in VA, NC, WI and IL also available.Responsibilities/Duties:Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of traineesInterface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.Be able to prepare written instructions and to organize and report the results of examinations.Work independently and support team members.
