Job summary

WPP Production is seeking a Freelance Finance Coordinator in Detroit to oversee the day-to-day billing of multiple projects. You will partner with Client Engagement, Multi-channel Production, Post-Production Coordinators, and the Video Production Manager to ensure proper documentation and timely invoices.

The role requires 1+ year in finance or accounting, familiarity with Maconomy, and the ability to maintain project financial records.

Qualifications

• Finance/ Accounting or PM experience is required.
• 1+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting in a creative/post-production advertising environment is preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements listed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process studio invoices and monthly billing for all projects.
• Open jobs in Maconomy, create estimates and prepare invoices.
• Issue external purchase orders and complete vendor setup paperwork as needed.
• Approve invoices for accounts payable and reconcile postings.
• Create weekly Open Job Reports for client engagement and support finance-related matters.

What Does A Freelance Finance Coordinator do at WPP Production?

The Finance Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the day-to-day WPP Production's billing process on all projects. The Finance Coordinator partners with; Client Engagement, Multi-channel production, Post-Production Coordinators, and the Video Production Manager to ensure proper documentation and coding of all projects prior to the tasks of preparing the invoices, resolving billing issues, and timely process of all projects.

Major Responsibilities/ Prinicipal Accountabilities

• Prepare and process Studio Invoices and monthly billing for all


• In Maconomy open jobs, create estimates and prepare invoices.


• Issue external Purchase Orders and fill out Vendor Setup Paperwork as needed.


• Approving invoices for Accounts Payable.


• Process Agency Close Alerts for other OpCo systems.


• Reconcile Check/Posting


• Create weekly Open Job Reports for WPP Production Client Engagement


• Review work in progress with Client Engagement to facilitate partial billings and resolve any special circumstances relating to finances on a


• Offer support. and collaborate with Multi-channel Production, Post-Production Coordinators and Video Production Managers on any finance related matters associated with their projects.


• Maintain project and financial records for Makerhouse, including the manual and/or digital filing of Job Jackets and their contents.

• 1+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting preferably in a creative/post-production advertising environment

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range as listed below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
