Job summary

COOLSOFT is seeking a Security Analyst in Madison, WI to grow and operate the agency IT security program for DFI. You will manage security controls across networks, servers, and endpoints, lead projects, and help craft policies and standards.

The role requires experience with IT security tooling like Tenable and CrowdStrike, and strong communication. Local, on-site preference with potential remote days after a trial period, as part of a 8-month contract.

Qualifications

• IT Security experience 4–7 years.
• Expert knowledge of CrowdStrike administration.
• Expert knowledge of Tenable administration.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer CrowdStrike, Tenable, Zscaler.
• Conduct IT security risk assessments and remediation planning.
• Research vendor offerings and conduct proof of concepts.
• Coordinate with teams to deploy new technologies and fix issues.
• Monitor asset inventory and status of devices.
• Review vulnerability dashboards and report impact.
