Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Sr. Special Procedures Technologist for a 13-week contract in Los Angeles. The role focuses on radiographic imaging during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, with schedule options spanning early to late shifts.

Minimum three years of experience preferred; RT license in the state is required and ARRT certification is preferred. BLS certification is mandatory, and E-Verify participation applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' technical experience preferred
• Experience as Special Procedures Technologist preferred
• Radiologic Tech (RT) license in state of practice required
• ARRT certification preferred; BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs during cardiac catheterization.
• Positions and immobilizes patients on the examining table following protocol.
• Assists physicians with interventional procedures and special exams.
• Sets imaging parameters and controls x-ray equipment per protocol.
• Starts contrast injection and monitors fluoroscope and video displays during procedures.
• Provides patient explanations and discharge instructions; ensures patient safety throughout procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to program standards.
