A leading design firm is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their remote team on a contract basis. This role involves overseeing the entire interior design process and requires strong proficiency in CAD and Revit, alongside substantial experience. About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly experienced Interior Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who is confident in taking a project from concept through documentation and is fluent in both CAD and Revit workflows.
As the Senior Interior Designer, you’ll be responsible for the full interior design process including programming, design development, producing drawing sets, notating those sets, and assembling complete material and finish schedules. You’ll work closely with project leads and contribute meaningfully to the creative and technical process.
Responsibilities:
Support and Lead interior design efforts from concept to documentation.
Produce and annotate complete drawing setswith support from our owner Joshua Charles.
Develop and manage material and finish schedules.
Collaborate with teams on programming, spatial planning, and design specifications.
Ensure design intent is executed accurately throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience in interior design, preferably commerical but not a deal breaker.
Full proficiency in CAD and Revit is a must.
Proven experience producing, annotating, and managing complete drawing sets.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and FF&E specifications. We use Design Spec or Programma in the office.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
U.S.-based; eligible to work in the United States.
